El corralón

Located to the east of Punta de La Azohía, we find “El Corralón”, a shallow cove, with posidonea bottoms and boulders, as if it were a river.
We anchor inside the cove, on a depth of 6 meters. We dive along the rock, on a bottom of posidonea and gravel, and we slowly and progressively gain depth until we leave the cove.
It is when we arrive at the point where we continue the immersion on the wall, with depths of up to 20 meters deep, encountering large meadows of Posidonia oceanica, indicative of the good quality of its waters.
As in other immersion points in the area, in these waters it is easy to observe numerous species, such as broccoli, bream, castanets, conger eels, moray eels etc …
This dive is suitable for an initiation level, due to the shallow depth and good visibility of the area. it is also ideal for diving baptisms.
